Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Resource Teacher supporting elementary students in grades 3-5. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide targeted instruction and individualized support in a collaborative school environment. Work full time, Monday through Friday, as part of a dedicated team focused on student growth. Desired Experience:Certified Special Education Teacher with appropriate state credentialsBackground working as a Resource Teacher or in similar Special Education settingsExperience developing and implementing IEPs for diverse learnersStrong knowledge of instructional strategies in reading, writing, and math for elementary studentsProven ability to case manage students with a range of needs, including speech-only servicesExcellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Key Responsibilities:Teach reading, writing, and math to a caseload of approximately 20 students in grades 3-5Develop, modify, and deliver lessons tailored to individual learning plansCase manage 15 students, ensuring compliance with IEPs and maintaining accurate records (including 5 students who are speech-only cases)Work collaboratively with general education teachers, speech therapists, and support staff to provide cohesive student servicesCommunicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goalsUtilize data to assess student growth and adapt instruction accordinglyFoster a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom environment This is a wonderful opportunity to use your skills and dedication to empower students in an engaging contract role.
