This role supervises a team of shipping, receiving, and material handling employees to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant movement of materials supporting production and customer deliveries.\nThis position focuses on execution of established processes, safety and quality compliance, and team performance, consistent with a first-line management role. The supervisor provides direction to employees based on defined policies and procedures and supports operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervise daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, including inbound receipts, material storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipments.\nLead, coach, and monitor a team of warehouse associates; assign daily tasks and manage performance and attendance.\nEnsure accuracy of inventory transactions, shipping documentation, and system records (ERP/WMS).\nOversee kitting activities (pick-to-kit), staging, and timely material delivery to production; ensure kits are complete, correctly labeled, and built to current work instructions/BOM.\nManage material shortages and substitutions by coordinating with Planning/Procurement and escalating constraints that impact production schedules.\nEnsure inbound receiving includes proper identification, labeling, and system transactions (barcode scanning, lot/serial traceability, and dock-to-stock execution).\nEnforce compliance with safety standards, including forklift operations, hazardous materials handling, and workplace safety protocols.\nEnsure adherence to semiconductor-specific handling requirements (e.g., ESD controls, cleanliness, material traceability).\nMonitor key operational metrics such as on-time shipment, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock cycle time, and productivity.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality) to meet manufacturing and customer requirements.\nEscalate operational issues (shortages, delays, discrepancies) and support problem resolution.\nSupport cycle counting, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations.\nMaintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse operations aligned to 5S and lean principles.\nParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new warehouse employees.\nMaintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities, incidents, and performance metrics.\nControl suspect, nonconforming, or quarantine material (hold locations, identification/labels, and disposition); coordinate with Quality on investigations and corrective actions.\nWorking Conditions / Additional Information:\nWarehouse and/or cleanroom-adjacent environment\nUse of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)\nMay require standing, walking, and lifting materials during shift\nShift-based or compressed workweek schedules may apply\nSkills:\nClean Room Environment, Communication, Documentations, Erp Software, ESD Training, Inventory Control, Material Handling Equipment, People Leadership, Records Management, Safety Compliance, Shipping and Receiving, Team Coordination, Team Supervision, Warehousing Operations\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience | Required\nPay Range:\n$71,400.00 - $93,660.00\nPay Range Explained:\nThis role in Livermore, California pays between $71,400.00 and $93,660.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background.
