Business Development Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW DeWitt Guam is seeking a highly connected, results-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across our entire portfolio of services. This individual will leverage top-tier relationships across Guam and Micronesia islands, the Pacific region, federal agencies, military leadership, and commercial sectors to drive new revenue and expand DeWitt's market presence. The ideal candidate is a proven dealmaker and relationship builder who understands the unique opportunities presented by the U.S. military buildup in Guam, the island's expanding infrastructure development, and the growing demand for logistics and relocation services. This role will be responsible for generating new business across multiple divisions including: FF&E Logistics and Installation Commercial Relocation Services Warehouse, Storage, and Distribution Trucking & Transportation The Manager will serve as a strategic ambassador for DeWitt Guam, building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and converting relationships into measurable revenue growth. They will also represent DeWitt Guam at industry events, government meetings, and community forums. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Business Growth Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial, government, military, and contractor markets. Capitalize on opportunities tied to the Guam military buildup, including defense contractors, construction firms, and federal agencies. Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for DeWitt Guam new business. Relationship Development Maintain and expand relationships with: Local government and business leaders Federal agencies Prime contractors and subcontractors Military leadership Construction and infrastructure firms Hospitality and Real Estate Developers Revenue Generation Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities for: FF&E and installation – Special Projects Commercial moving and relocation Warehouse, Storage, and Distribution Trucking and local transport Proposal & Contract Development Lead or support proposal development for government and commercial contracts. Collaborate with department leadership to develop competitive pricing and service solutions. Market Intelligence Monitor local and regional economic development and military infrastructure projects. Identify upcoming opportunities in construction, defense, hospitality, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors. Brand Representation Serve as a strategic business development lead for DeWitt Guam, reinforcing the company's reputation as the island's premier logistics and relocation provider. QUALIFICATIONSExperience 10+ years of business development, sales, or strategic partnerships experience Proven track record of generating high-value contracts Experience working with local and federal government contracts, defense contractors, or logistics industries preferred Strong knowledge of Guam's business landscape and military presence Relationships The ideal candidate will already have strong relationships with: Government procurement offices Construction companies involved in military infrastructure Military leadership and command staff Defense contractors Realtors and Commercial property investors Logistics and freight networks Skills Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills Strategic thinker with strong negotiation abilities Ability to navigate government procurement and contracting processes Strong presentation and executive communication skills Self-driven with the ability to operate independently KEY SUCCESS METRICS Success in this role will be measured by: New contract revenue generated Strategic partnerships formed Expansion of DeWitt services across new sectors Pipeline development and conversion to increased revenue Contribution to DeWitt's leadership position in Guam logistics COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary commensurate with experience up to $65K Bonus Opportunities 401k (Company match incentive) Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Paid time off and holidays Flexible Spending Account Supportive team environment and career growth opportunities How to Apply:Apply online and submit resume and cover letter.
