Senior CNC Programmer - Precision Machining

A successful precision manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Programmer with strong lathe programming experience and exposure to milling operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on programming professional who thrives in a fast-paced machining environment and can support complex, tight-tolerance production work.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, edit, and optimize CNC programs primarily for multi-axis lathes and turning centersSupport milling operations and assist with programming for machining centers as neededCreate and modify programs using CAD/CAM software, preferably MastercamInterpret blueprints, GD&T, process sheets, and engineering drawingsTroubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency and reduce downtimeCollaborate with machinists, engineering, and production teams to improve manufacturing processesSelect tooling, establish setup procedures, and recommend process improvementsPerform first-piece inspections and support quality initiativesOptimize cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standardsQualifications5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong background programming CNC lathes; milling experience is also preferredProficiency with CAD/CAM software, ideally MastercamExperience with multi-axis machining and tight-tolerance partsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHands-on machining or setup experience is highly preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceStable and growing manufacturing environmentOpportunity to work on complex, high-precision componentsFull benefits package available
