You collaborate with engineers across disciplines, solve real-world challenges, and see your designs come to life in the field. Every detail you contribute will help power entire communities-safely, reliably, and sustainably.Substation Design & Drafting: Develop electric substation drawings, includingGeneralArrangements, Elevations, Conduit Plans/Details, Grounding Plans/Details, Foundation Plans, Lightning Protection plans, and control building layouts. Work closely with the Civil Engineering department to develop substation foundation and structuredetaildrawingsEngineering Analysis & Calculations: Perform substation designcalculations lightning protection, voltage drop, and conduit fillCollaboration & Quality Assurance: Work closely with peers to ensureaccurateand on-time delivery of electrical design that meets client and industry standards, specifications, and good engineering practicesField Support: Providing on-site technical support forselectENERCON clients during construction and commissioning asrequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in Substation designing, with a primary focus on executing physical design projectsFamiliarity with relay protection schemesExperience with MicroStation and AutoCADWillingness to enter energized electric substations with proper training and PPEMust be self-driven in time management to meet deadlines and provide accurate deliverables, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholdersMust be proficient with typical office software including Microsoft Windows and Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointWillingness to travel for client site visits and project meetingsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in electric utility industry, preferably in fast-paced consulting environment500kV substationdesignexperienceCompensation RangeUSD $65,600.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.Additional InformationENERCON Services, Inc.
