This role ensures stability, security, and performance of critical systems including SharePoint, Power BI Report Server, SQL clusters, and various on premises and cloud-based infrastructure services. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of hybrid environments, and the ability to support security/ATO compliance efforts.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSharePoint Administration\n\nManage, configure, and maintain on premises, Azure and cloud-based SharePoint environments.\nPerform troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization.\nSupport governance and service requests.\nAdminister SharePoint Online (SPO), including security, access controls, and feature management.\n\nPower BI Report Server Administration\n\nAdminister and maintain on prem/Azure Power BI Report Server.\nConfigure data sources, manage report deployment, and support users with report accessibility issues.\nMonitor server performance and ensure report refresh reliability.\nMonitor and support SQL server for Power BI RS\n\nActive Directory Federation Services (ADFS)\n\nSupport ADFS environments, including troubleshooting authentication/claims issues.\nMaintain configurations supporting secure access to enterprise applications.\n\nSQL & Failover Cluster Support\n\nPossess baseline SQL administration knowledge.\nSupport SQL cluster monitoring, failover testing, and basic troubleshooting.\nCollaborate with database teams on maintenance, patches, and stability improvements.\n\nServer Administration\n\nPerform Windows Server maintenance, including patching, updates, and configuration management.\nSupport security and ATO remediation tasks aligned with organizational compliance requirements.\nMonitor system health, logs, and alerts to ensure reliable server operations.\n\nAzure Administration (or Familiarity with Azure Backend)\n\nManage or support Azure services related to identity, storage, SharePoint Online, and hybrid integrations.\nAssist with monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting of cloud-connected components.\nParticipate in initiatives that improve cloud governance, automation, and infrastructure efficiency.\n\nGeneral Infrastructure Operations\n\nRespond to escalated operational tickets and resolve issues promptly.\nContribute to documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.\nParticipate in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancement projects.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams across security, networking, development, and data platforms.\n\nThe position would be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C. and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.\n\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $112,000 – $136,000.
