Responsible for receiving product from vendors for quality control, maintaining the daily schedule of audits, managing inventory reports, and ensuring the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventory.\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities\nAudits inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.\nResearches and resolves all key issues, adjustments, and discrepancies, ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures.\nAssists in maintaining inventory accuracy, completes follow-up to all previous inventory adjustments, and reviews cycle counts.\nMaintains time control tables consistent with base tables, keys, and reviews allocations.\nReceives products from vendors to check for quality and communicates potential quality issues to buyers.\nMaintains quality control and inventory control manuals.\nMaintains a safe work environment by following safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting best practices.\nOther duties as assigned.\nNature and Scope\nRefers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.\nUnder general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.\nWork Environment\nLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.\nMost of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.\nTypically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.\nEducation and Experience\nHS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.\nSpecialized skills training/certification may be required.\nGenerally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to work the required schedule of Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM\nExperience with inventory control, cycle counting, inventory auditing, or reconciliation activities in a warehouse or distribution environment\nProficiency using inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle or similar platforms)\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies accurately\nExperience maintaining inventory records, tracking adjustments, and supporting inventory accuracy initiatives\nFamiliarity with receiving processes, product inspections, quality control procedures, and discrepancy reporting\nStrong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy\nExperience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment safely; certification preferred\nIf you’re looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
