The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. You will be at the forefront of our operations, leading the way in developing and implementing complex mechanical solutions for our clients. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of highly skilled engineers.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign and develop innovative mechanical systems and products, adhering to industry standards and best practices.\nUtilize software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam for designing and drafting mechanical components and systems.\nDesign and implement HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.\nPrepare and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.\nConduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.\nDevelop and manage project documentation including ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates, book specs, and cost estimates.\nProvide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.\nCoordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure project success.\nConduct cost and time estimation for projects, considering materials, manpower, and other resources.\nEnsure all mechanical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and regulations.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the engineering industry.\nProficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other engineering design software.\nExtensive experience in HVAC and plumbing design.\nStrong knowledge of ROM, book specs, and cost estimating.\nCommercial experience with a focus on mechanical systems.\nExcellent technical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nProven track record of managing projects from conception to completion.\nFamiliarity with industry, federal, and state regulations and standards.\n\nA bit about us:\n-\n\nThis team has delivered award-winning architectural and engineering solutions for both public and private sector clients across: Aerospace, Commercial and Industrial giants, Correctional and Government Facilities, Educational Institutions and Healthcare Facilities to name a few.
