This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll initially perform migration activities yourself before leading a small team as the project ramps up.This role is on a contractual-basis, remote with travel to Arizona/Florida *(expenses paid)*, 6 months contract plus chance of extension, and will start immediately.Required Experience8–12+ years of SAP experience2–3+ full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (Private Cloud / RISE preferred)Proven experience leading SAP data migration workstreamsStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skillsExperience with data governance, data quality, cleansing, reconciliation, and legacy ERP data extractionTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of SAP data structures (FI, CO, MM, SD, BP, Materials, PM, QM)SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM), including migration object extensions/customizationsData mapping, transformation, validation, and migration executionETL/data load tools and migration methodologiesLarge global SAP deployments are a plusResponsibilitiesDefine and own the overall SAP data migration strategy, including identifying in-scope data objects and determining the appropriate conversion approach (historical data vs. open balances)Lead the full data migration lifecycle, including legacy data extraction, cleansing, enrichment, transformation, mapping, validation, loading, and reconciliationDesign and oversee migration objects, templates, load programs, and SAP Migration Cockpit activities to ensure accurate and efficient data conversionDrive cross-functional data mapping workshops and establish source-to-target mapping rules across FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, QM, Business Partner, Materials, and other SAP modules.Coordinate business validation, reconciliation, and formal sign-offs for trial balances, GL balances, open AR/AP, inventory balances, and other critical data objects.Execute and oversee mock conversions, production cutover data loads, and final reconciliation while ensuring repeatable, automated, and auditable migration cycles.Serve as the primary owner of the Data Migration workstream by managing risks, reporting project status, and leading onshore/offshore migration teams.Collaborate closely with Functional Leads, Technical/Basis teams, Integration teams, and Business Data Owners to ensure successful end-to-end project delivery.If this role aligns with you - or someone who you know is qualified - please attach your most updated CV/resume with a good phone number to reach you at.
