Systems Architect - Pega PRPC

Job Summary Our client is seeking a Systems Architect - Pega PRPC to join their team! This position is located in Minneapolis, Denver, Milwaukee, Irving, or Atlanta.  Core ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for the ongoing development, support, and maintenance of multiple framework components; These framework components include thick-client, web, services, enterprise application integration / service bus, and batchFurthering the frameworks by identifying areas for improvement, advancement, and implementing these changes within the frameworksProvide cross-functional support for performance issues and application errorsProvide both specific expertise on frameworks as well as generic expertise for the technology stackHelp to determine root cause of issues with input from operations and application resourcesAssist the development of architectural designs that implement Systems Architecture frameworksProvide guidance to internal and external resources on the appropriate use of these frameworks and technology in support of projects and application maintenanceSupport the DevOps release management process in an agile and rapidly changing environmentFoster the execution of an agile release methodology and assists with all aspects of release management for our entire environmentAct as a focal point for cross-functional items that allow the development teams to deliver projects and maintenance in an agile mannerProvide deep expertise on agile methodologies, understanding and ensuring the implementation of separation of duties, and the ability to identify cross-functional needs and recommend how those needs can be satisfiedCoordinate day to day activities with team members, leads and mentors other team members, coordinates release planning and off-cycle efforts, resolves/escalate risks and issues, and executes resource planning and time tracking processesRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field10+ years of overall IT experience7+ years of hands-on development experience in a Pega Infinity / PRPC environmentExperience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications and frameworksStrong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and GraphQLExperience with Agile methodologies, particularly ScrumStrong verbal, written, and visual communication skillsPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) toolsExperience writing DB2 and/or PostgreSQL stored proceduresExperience working in financial services environmentsExperience collaborating with offshore development teamsKnowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestrationExperience with AWS, Azure, or Pega Cloud deployments Experience using Git, Jenkins, and TerraformFamiliarity with Microservices Architecture and Amazon EKSKey Competencies & BehaviorsTechnical leadership and mentoring Cross-functional collaboration Analytical problem-solving Communication and stakeholder management Organizational and release coordination Strategic thinking and innovation mindsetWork EnvironmentLocation: Minneapolis MN, Denver CO, Milwaukee WI,  Irving TX or Atlanta GACompensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $60.00 and $85.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
