As a Mainframe Software Engineer, you will be part of the software engineering team supporting enterprise loan applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Mainframe Software EngineerLocation: RemotePay Range: $55-60/hrWhat's the Job?Assist with the development and implementation of software for enterprise loan applications. Write reliable, testable, maintainable, and performant code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and stable software solutions. Inspect business and programming specifications for accuracy. Implement new features, troubleshoot bugs, and support production incidents. What's Needed?Minimum of 7 years’ mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding. Strong experience with CICS, JCL, MVS, VSAM, and mainframe change management tools. Proven ability to define and solve complex business problems. Experience with SQL and relational databases is a plus. Familiarity with the Agile framework preferred.
