{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"79080ebf2fea641eb67584d2","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/79080ebf2fea641eb67584d2","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/79080ebf2fea641eb67584d2","title":"Information System Security Manager","description":"Classified Cyber Security Senior / Information System Security Manager (ISSM)\r\nLocation\r\nClearwater, FL\r\nThis Information System Security Manager (ISSM) position is responsible for all cybersecurity efforts at the Clearwater, FL facility supporting development, maintenance, and oversight of the assigned classified and/or unclassified systems.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop and maintain the site's cybersecurity program for assigned systems.\r\nEnsure all applicable cybersecurity policy, plans and procedures are followed.\r\nEnsure required cybersecurity controls are implemented and validated, including continuous monitoring actions for assigned systems.\r\nDevelop and maintain cybersecurity related plans, procedures and guidance.\r\nMaintain NSA COMSEC account as the COMSEC Responsible Officer and perform custodian duties.\r\nMonitor and recognize non-compliance, suspicious and anomalous activity and effectively report such activity and associated risks to appropriate parties.\r\nEnsure plans of action and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during monitoring activity, audits, inspections, etc., and implement or oversee required corrective actions.\r\nConduct role-based cybersecurity training for assigned users.\r\nCreate, collect and retain data to meet reporting requirements.\r\nMonitor and correlate data from a variety of sources (e.g., Splunk, ELA, ePO, ESS, ACAS) to identify and mitigate threats, vulnerabilities and non-compliance.\r\nInvestigate, analyze and respond to cyber events, incidents and non-compliance, including trend analysis, assembling detailed written reports and briefing the appropriate parties.\r\nIdentify, implement, and enforce overall security requirements for the proper handling and storage of Government data and electronic media.\r\nConduct self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections.\r\nCommunicate and interact professionally during enforcement of security policy and procedures.\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\r\nFinal Transferable Secret security clearance; last periodic re-investigation within last five years or enrollment in continuous vetting program.\r\nPossess a valid certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01-M IAM I requirements (e.g., CAP, CND, Cloud+, Security+ CE).\r\nExperience executing security hardening on Windows and/or Linux operating systems based on approved DISA STIGs and SRGs.\r\nExperience with standard cyber security tools and applications (e.g., Splunk, ESS/Trellix ePO, ACAS/Tenable.sc).\r\nAbility to build effective customer and partner relationships.\r\nDesired Skills\r\nPrior experience as an ISSO, ISSM or other DoD Cyber Workforce role.\r\nPrior COMSEC experience.\r\nKnowledge of DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG), Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), or Risk Management Framework (RMF) as a subject matter expert.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface effectively with security agencies, customers and senior leadership.\r\nKnowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.\r\nSecurity Clearance\r\nThis position requires a government security clearance.
