Join us and be part of something extraordinary.\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a Senior Java/AI Engineer to join the Enterprise Data & Solutions Engineering team supporting enterprise-scale application modernization and AI-enabled engineering initiatives. This role will focus heavily on hands-on Java engineering, microservices development, AI integration, and cloud-native application delivery within a highly collaborative agile environment.\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across Java, Spring Boot, AI-assisted development tools, microservices architecture, and enterprise application performance optimization. This position will play a key role in designing scalable APIs, integrating AI capabilities into application workflows, and supporting modern DevOps and CI/CD engineering practices. The role is based in Lake Mary, FL and requires 4 days onsite per week.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nJava & Microservices Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices, APIs, and distributed applications following modern engineering standards and architectural best practices.\nAI Integration & Engineering Enablement: Support integration of AI capabilities into enterprise applications, including prompt orchestration, inference workflows, embeddings/vector search, and AI-assisted engineering tooling such as CoPilot, Claude Code, and Windsurf.\nArchitecture & Technical Leadership: Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions while contributing to coding standards, solution design, code reviews, and production readiness assessments.\nCloud-Native & DevOps Delivery: Build and support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps workflows leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment strategies.\nDatabase & Performance Optimization: Design and optimize resilient data access patterns within Oracle and other relational databases, including schema design, query tuning, transaction management, and performance optimization.\nOperational Excellence & Reliability: Support performance benchmarking, threat modeling, monitoring, rollout/rollback strategies, and application scalability initiatives to ensure secure and resilient production systems.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Platform Engineering, Security, AI/Data teams, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to support enterprise modernization and AI-focused technical initiatives.\nQualifications:\n\n8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, distributed systems, and scalable application development.\nExperience working with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar technologies.\nUnderstanding of AI application concepts including prompt engineering, AI agent architecture, vector search, embeddings, or RAG workflows.\nStrong DevOps and CI/CD experience including Docker, Kubernetes, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.\nStrong Oracle or relational database expertise including SQL, stored procedures, transaction management, and performance tuning.\nExperience with job scheduling and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Autosys, or Control-M.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within agile engineering environments.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.\nPreferred Experience:\n\nFinancial services or enterprise platform engineering experience.\nExperience supporting AI-enabled enterprise modernization initiatives.\nExperience designing scalable cloud-native application architectures.\nExposure to performance benchmarking, production readiness reviews, and application security practices.\nExperience working in highly regulated enterprise environments.\nWhy Join Us:\nThis opportunity offers the chance to work on enterprise-scale modernization and AI integration initiatives within a highly technical engineering organization.
