Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Davie, FL, for a Summer Camp Counselor. The Camp Counselor will be responsible for leading and supervising campers in daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive camp environment. Responsibilities include planning and facilitating educational and recreational programs, providing guidance and support to campers, and fostering teamwork and engagement among participants. Counselors are also expected to act as role models and ensure adherence to camp policies and safety guidelines. Qualifications Experience working in camp settings or similar environmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with campers and colleaguesKnowledge in lifeguarding, safety procedures, or CPR certification is an assetBackground in education or experience leading group activities is beneficialDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentEnthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to inspire and motivate children and teensMust be dependable, patient, and adaptable to various situations
