The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse. This role involves tracking, auditing, and reconciling inventory data, performing regular counts, and identifying discrepancies to ensure efficient inventory management and product availability.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts (cycle counts and full physical inventories).\nVerify, track, and record all inventory movements (receipts, transfers, returns, adjustments).\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages.\nUpdate inventory systems and databases accurately and in real time.\nCollaborate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure inventory accuracy.\nMonitor stock levels and report low or excess inventory to management.\nAssist in implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures and best practices.\nGenerate inventory reports for management review.\nEnsure all items are properly labeled, organized, and stored according to company standards.\nSupport audits and compliance checks as required.\nOperate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and efficiently.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area following safety regulations.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n1–3 years of experience in inventory control.\nProficient with inventory and/or warehouse management systems.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nBasic math and data entry skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nGood communication and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods if required.\nSkills:\nInventory tracking and reconciliation\nData entry and reporting\nMicrosoft Excel and ERP/WMS software\nRoot cause analysis for discrepancies\nTime management and accuracy\nJob type: Full-Time\n\nIt is the policy of USESI and its affiliates to consider applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.\nAt USESI, we believe that our benefits should make a difference to you, your job, and the life you lead outside of work.
