In this role, you will provide leadership and experience to drive the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects. Apply today and make a lasting impact.  What You'll DoLead design for the rehabilitation or replacement of municipal infrastructure, including treatment, pump stations, storage, water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater systemsTroubleshoot infrastructure system operations and develop plans and recommendations for operational improvementsOversee mechanical systems design (treatment facilities, pump stations, etc.), including electrical and structural componentsManage subcontractors that provide ancillary services for projects, including geotechnical, environmental, cultural, survey, and other services as neededManage project bidding and award, contractor coordination, construction oversight, project financing, including funding agency reimbursement, and project closeout servicesSupport clients to identify funding sources and coordinate applications for fundingServe as a technical authority and mentor junior engineersGuide small and underfunded utility providers to modernize aging infrastructureManage project delivery and meet client needs and expectations What You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldPE Registration in Oregon or the ability to obtain an Oregon License within 1 year 10+ years of experience in municipal infrastructureProven leadership in infrastructure rehabilitation and utility coordinationStrong understanding of water and wastewater engineeringStrong technical knowledge and practical field experienceExcellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skillsPrevious experience leading and mentoring junior staffSalary RangeAt Verdantas, we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual salary is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate, such as geographic location, skills, and certifications. We recognize and reward exceptional performance and strive to ensure fair compensation across all roles and departments within the company.
