These may include receiving and processing freight, managing and moving inventory, loading, unloading, shipping and receiving. Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained while maintaining minimal overhead.\nExpected Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm with some overtime as needed\nRequired Qualifications/Experience\n· Must pass drug and background screens\n· Works effectively with minimal direction and demonstrates strong initiative\n· Valid driver’s license and insurable through company insurance carrier\n· Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing\n· 3 years warehouse experience, preferably in a similar trade\n· Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical parts.\n· Inventory management experience\n· Ability to lift 100 pounds unassisted\nPreferred Qualifications/Experience\n· Warehouse management experience\n· Forklift certified\nEssential Duties\nResponsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory, delivery support, and facility maintenance.\nAssist in developing and implementing operations control improvements in support of company goals by leading continuous improvement projects and by analyzing process workflow, staffing, and space requirements.\nSupport and implement, company safety policies and procedures in the facility.\nFleet management responsibility- ensuring that trucks are properly maintained, registered, licensed, tested and, to the extent appropriate, operated in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.\nResponsible for the coordination of building maintenance and upkeep, ensuring preventative maintenance and repairs are completed on time and within budget.\nProvides regular coaching, guidance, motivation, and performance reviews, including hiring employees, to maintain and enhance competency levels within the department.\nAccurately count and locate product\nProcess all Warranty returns with manufacturers/suppliers. Communicate with Stack A/P and ensure proper credits have been received.\nStock and consolidate tools and materials\nVerify inventory to PO's and manifests\nInspect and process returns\nMaintain accurate sign in and sign out procedures for tools and other warehouse items\nPrepare all appropriate shipping documentation.\nCheck and put away stock orders.\nMaintain shop and yard in a clean and orderly fashion.\n· Oversee physical space in warehouse including cleanliness and organization.\n· Collaborate with sales and customer service to resolve any issues or returns\n· Supervises safety programs and training for warehouse personnel and ensures compliance with safety rules and standards.\n· Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.\n· Reclaim Refrigerant daily to keep area clean.\n· Make sure scrap area is kept up with.\nOther duties and tasks as needed\nCompetencies:\nCommunication\nDecision making\nCustomer/Client focused\nInitiative\nWork standards\nFinancial Management\nTime management\nStress management\nPerformance Indicators\nOrganization of warehouse and yard\nAccuracy of paperwork, hours, & materials charged to jobs.\nMaking sure all warranty parts have been returned to the vendor by the end of each month.\nNumber of times emergency stocking orders are processed for stocked inventory.\nAbility to work as a team will all departments.\nScrap and refrigerant areas clean\nSupervisory Responsibility: This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.\nWork Environment: Warehouse environment consists of extreme temperatures of heat and cold.\nPhysical Demands: Reaching, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, squatting, holding, carrying objects and lifting – including heavy objects such as equipment up to 250 pounds. Use of tools and equipment such as hand tools and ladders including extension ladders. Must be able to see, read, hear, and speak. Use of fingers and hands.\nThis job description does not constitute a contract between employer and employee.
