They will collaborate with the senior controller to complete audits, month end close, and invoicing of clients\n\nEssential Functions\n\nReasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nMaintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.\nAssist with managing cash flow by tracking all accounts receivable and facilitating collection from clients.\nPerform reconciliations of ledger accounts.\nWorks with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.\nEnsures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.\nPerforms other related duties as necessary or assigned.\nLeadership: Direct the Finance and accounting team and ensure their ongoing professional development and training.\n\nCompetencies\n\nA set of core skills, including deep financial expertise, strategic planning abilities, leadership and communication skills, technological savvy, and an understanding of regulatory and compliance issues.\n\nWork Environment\n\nThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nThis is a combination of desk work and hands-on applications within the company\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\n\nThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday.\n\nTravel\n\nTravel is required to multiple locations as business needs demand up to 30% may be expected.\n\nRequired skills and qualifications\n\nExcellent management and supervisory skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.\n\nPreferred skills and qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.\nThree to Five years or more of related experience required.\nCertified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.\n\nOther Duties\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
