What You’ll Own
This role is equal parts sales leader, operator, and business owner mindset. You’ll lead a branch with one clear focus:Maximize revenue, grow your customer base, and keep trailers moving.
Here’s what that looks like in action:
Drive revenue growth by actively building and expanding your customer base
Develop and execute sales strategies to get trailers on rent and keep utilization high
Own the full customer lifecycle—from first contact to signed lease to payment collection
Be in the market—visiting customers, identifying opportunities, and closing deals
Price strategically to stay competitive while maximizing profitabilityCreate demand, not just respond to it
You’ll have full accountability for how your location performs—financially and operationally.
Manage P&L, budgets, and financial performance
Monitor key metrics and adjust quickly to stay on target
Ensure trailers are available, maintained, and ready for customers
Build and execute inventory strategies to support growth
Keep operations running smoothly so sales never stall
Lead a Team That Gets It Done
Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team
Set clear expectations and hold people accountable
Create a culture of urgency, ownership, and teamwork
Partner with other GMs to solve problems and win business

Proven success in customer-facing, sales-driven roles
Strong business acumen—you understand how decisions impact revenue

Confidence in building relationships and closing deals
Ability to balance sales growth with operational execution
Experience leading teams and holding accountability
Background in transportation, equipment rental, or related industries is a plus
