Founded in 1969, CPLC empowers individuals through health & human services, housing, education, and economic development.\r\nOur Self-Help Housing Program , founded in 1993 in Santa Cruz County, helps low-to-moderate-income families construct their own homes in rural communities. The program has empowered more than 250 families to achieve the dream of homeownership—and now, you can be part of that legacy.\r\nHOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?\r\nAs the Assistant Construction Supervisor , you'll guide families as they build their own homes through the Self-Help Program. You'll ensure safe, efficient worksites, train participants in construction skills, and keep projects on schedule—all while fostering teamwork and confidence among the families you mentor.\r\nSupervise clients/volunteers in the building of homes under the Self-help TA grant guidelines. This position does not supervise CPLC employees.\r\nWHO YOU ARE?\r\nYou're skilled, patient, and passionate about helping others succeed. You take pride in your craft and find joy in teaching and empowering families to achieve their goals.
