The Outfitter will be cross-trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects.\r\nEssential Functions:Repetitively lifting up to 50 lbs\r\nEnsure associates are working in a safe manner at all times.\r\nEnsure housekeeping assignments are completed daily and associates maintain a clean work area throughout their day.\r\nEnsure all associates are fully trained on procedures and equipment and have the supplies needed to effectively complete assigned tasks.\r\nEnsure department processes and procedures are followed while adjusting labor needs to appropriately address work volumes and monitor consistent flow.\r\nEnsure associates are leaving and returning from breaks and lunch in a timely manner.\r\nTakes daily attendance as outfitters clock in and report absenteeism to Supervisor.\r\nActively participate in daily department start-up meetings. In the event of supervisor's absence, conduct start-up meeting, covering daily priorities & goals, company updates, perform stretching exercises and conclude meeting with a focus on safety.\r\nAttend all Bass Pro provided management training classes to expand on job knowledge and growth potential.\r\nAll other duties as assigned\r\nExperience/Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age\r\nKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:Production standards and accuracy are especially important aspects of this position that are closely monitored.\r\nAvailability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when scheduled.\r\nRepresents oneself as an ambassador of our company and brand.\r\nExperience and knowledge of multiple departments.\r\nComfortable conducting presentations in group environment.\r\nStrong, proven leadership and motivational ability.\r\nMaintains a positive attitude and exceptional customer service.\r\nPossesses an ambitious drive.\r\nDetail & quality oriented.\r\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\r\nKnowledge of safety methods and procedures.\r\nPhysical Requirements:Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.\r\nMust be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.\r\nIndependent Judgement:Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor.
