This is a growth level position. Potential applicants must have good mechanical and machining skills and the desire to grow into a highly skilled machinist. This position can grow into the future of the company.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSet up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes (machining centers), with a preference for experience using HAAS controls.\nOperate and maintain manual lathes and mills as needed for prototype or low-volume production work.\nProgram CNC machines using CAD/CAM systems with at least 2 years of experience, demonstrating a strong desire to continually improve and optimize processes.\nInterpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure parts meet precise engineering specifications.\nApply knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and material properties to select appropriate tooling and machining parameters.\nPerform basic inspection and measurement of machined parts; experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) is considered a strong asset.\nCollaborate effectively with engineering, scientific, assembly, and machine shop teams to support product development and manufacturing goals.\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:\n6+ years of manual & CNC machining experience with mills and/or lathes.\n2 years of CADCAM programming experience.\nGeneral computer skills: MS Word, Excel, etc.\nHaas CNC machine experience.\nGibbsCAM experience preferred.\nGood GD&T & inspection skills.\nPrototype experience a plus.\nMachining trade school certificate or courses.\nSolid mathematic skills\nWe are an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and are committed to compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws that prohibit employment discrimination on the basis of age, race, color, sex (including breastfeeding and related conditions), gender (including gender identity and gender expression), national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, registered domestic partner status, medical condition, military or veteran status, genetic characteristics or information, or any other legally protected characteristic.
