In addition , the position participates and has input into the manufacture and manufacturing planning, and technical development of products as appropriate. This is a growth oriented position. Mastering of listed Essential Functions is necessary to successfully execute Ultimate Core Job Functions\nEssential Functions\nAnalyze customer FGQs to establish product and service cost estimates for subsequent sales quotations.\nPresent cost and process estimates to the Sales Group.\nRegularly visits production areas and collaborates with technical and operational colleagues.\nDevelops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.\nParticipate in other special projects for the department.\nResearch customer needs and develop application of products and services.\nParticipates in development of new products, modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products.\nDevelops manufacturing methods and procedures to enable the manufacture of new and existing products.\nManages technical aspects of committees and working groups.\nParticipate in and/or lead projects and work teams.\nExperience\nA 4 year bachelor's (BS) Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the forging, foundry, heat treatment, etc, and/or machining industries.\nSkills\nExcellent reading, written, verbal listening and overall communication and comprehension skills.\nStrong collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nAbility to work cross functionally and interact with various levels of the organization.\nTechnical Capacity.\nCustomer/Client Focus.\nCommunication Proficiency.\nInnovation.\nFinancial Management.\nPresentation Skills\nWillingness to travel to customers, suppliers and group companies.\nAll applicants must be US citizens.
