Serves as a liaison between customers, vendors, and the factory on quality related issues, in support of company goal and objectives.\n\nThe Quality Engineer will play a critical role in strengthening SKF’s commitment to world class product performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This position provides comprehensive quality engineering support across our full portfolio of bearings and complementary product lines, ensuring robust manufacturing processes, effective problem resolution, and continuous improvement throughout the value chain.\n\nThis role is essential in enabling SKF to maintain its leadership in reliability and innovation by delivering deep technical expertise, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring seamless quality alignment between customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage performance and conformance related customer complaints in alignment with established quality procedures, applying strong analytical and problem solving methodologies to drive corrective actions and resolution.\nOwn and monitor Complaint Management KPIs for respective responsibility area, ensuring visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nLead complaint reduction initiatives across responsibility area, utilizing data driven insights to identify systemic issues and implement preventive actions.\nOversee product and process containment activities, ensuring timely execution of corrective and improvement action plans.\nLead, coach, and support Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ) projects with the factory to achieve defined targets and reduce waste.\nDrive effective Quality Management System (QMS) governance across regional factories to maintain compliance, audit readiness, and operational discipline.\nFacilitate training programs for factory teams to strengthen quality competencies and reinforce key quality initiatives.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance digital dashboards to support real time monitoring of quality initiatives across the responsibility area\nCoordinate effectively with dotted line quality resources across factories and operations team to ensure alignment, collaboration, and consistent execution of regional quality strategies.\n\nCustomer / Stakeholder Engagement\nThis role is essential in enabling SKF to maintain its leadership in reliability and innovation by delivering deep technical expertise, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring seamless quality alignment between customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum bachelor’s degree or higher equivalent, quality or engineering degree.\n3-10 years of experience in an industrial environment working with OEM and Tier 1 customers.\nProven track record of proactive and continuous improvements within area of responsibility.\nCustomer focused, self-reliant, structured and analytical problem solver with strong personal drive and commitment.\nPrevious experience with bearings would be appreciated.\n\nWhat You’ll Love About SKF:\nRest and Relaxation.
