Works well with the EVS Director to prepare written communication for the weekly resident newsletter and memos to keep the residents informed.Coordinates apartment refurbishing with the Plant Services Team.Coordinates department functions with other departments.Other DutiesInterviews vendors & salespeople and purchases environmental services supplies, maintains quality assurance protocols for incoming supplies. Operates within compliance expectations with CPS approved vendors.Operates the Department within budget guidelinesSupports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.Exemplifies at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.Complies with all federal, state and local codes, laws and regulations governing the Community and the Community Health Center.Attends and performs in-service training and education sessions as assigned.Participates in the rotating Manager on duty schedule.Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Director.Physical Requirements/Working ConditionsModerate to heavy physical effort 95% of the workday. Must be able to stand and walk long distances up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to stoop and work from a kneeling position, perform repetitive bending, reaching, and stretching. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. independently. Must be able to push and/or pull wheeled carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. over tiled and carpeted surfaces over long distances. Must be able to operate a vacuum, work in confined spaces around furniture and breakable objects, and have constant contact with residents. May be exposed to communicable diseases including influenza, HIV, and Hepatitis. May be exposed to unpleasant odors, high heat levels, and institutional cleaning chemicals.
