Working cross functionally, this individual will raise Aligned’s technical capabilities and enhance performance across multiple work streams.\n\nTelecommunications Strategy and Planning\nSupport the strategic roadmap for telecommunications operations, aligning it with business objectives and industry best practices.\nStay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to telecommunications in the data center industry.\nIdentify opportunities for innovation and improvement, leveraging new technologies and solutions to enhance telecommunications services.\nTelecommunications Infrastructure Design and Construction\nSupport management with the design, installation, and commissioning of telecommunications infrastructure within the data center to include:\nSupport & maintain critical Div. 27.00 specifications and standards\nEnsure standards and specifications are adhered to during bid phase\nEnsure contractors fully meet installation & test requirements prior to handover\nReview each phase of design deliverables.\nSupport conceptual/directional design decisions at inception.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Sales to ensure seamless integration of telecommunications systems.\nEnsure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols in all telecommunications infrastructure projects.\nAudio Visual and Security\nHelp oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of the AV and security infrastructure within the data centers to include:\nSupport & maintain critical Div. 28.00 specifications and standards\nEnsure standards and specifications are adhered to during bid phase\nEnsure contractors fully meet installation & test requirements prior to handover\nReview each phase of design deliverables.\nSupport conceptual/directional design decisions at inception.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, Security, and Sales to ensure seamless integration of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.\nOperations and Service Delivery\nPerform periodic site physicals, a robust assessment of site operations and select testing to ensure best possible uptime and reliability.\nEnsure high availability, reliability, and performance of telecommunications systems to meet customer SLAs and business needs.\nRevenue support\nCoordination and support for customer pursuits when any deviation to designs or standards is required.\nHelp coordinate technical investigations and assessment of assets under consideration for acquisition.\nVendor Management and Partnerships\nMaintain relationships with telecommunications vendors and service providers.\nReport to management of vendor performance, and help coordinate timely delivery of equipment, services, and support.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nBachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, similar, etc. or RCDD withsome applicable data center/construction experience.\nSome experience in TIA-942 data center telecommunications, and general campus/building ICT design standards.\nSome technical knowledge of telecommunications systems, protocols, and industry standards.\nExperience with large-scale network design, deployment, and management.\nGeneral understanding of data center infrastructure or construction.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.\nSome knowledge and/or some experience working with AutoCAD or Revit.\nDesign drawing and specification familiarity.\n\nCOMPETENCIES:\n\nDiversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy;
