This role builds and optimizes SQL data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and analytic datasets to support both immediate and long-term analytical goals.\nResponsibilities:\nBuild, design and implement SQL data warehouse to support Midco's analytic needs.\nBuild, design and implement data solutions that support short and long-term information & analysis goals.\nTrain and mentor team members and assist with identifying development needs across the team, work with manager to coordinate additional training as needed.\nDesign, develop and implement ETL procedures for optimal processing of data from a wide variety of data sources. Ensure data is verified and quality is checked\nBuild analytic data sets to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.\nWork with various Midco stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.\nEnsure data integrity through regular communications with IT Developers, Analysts and SMEs\nPerforming root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to ensure proper data design.\nConsolidate and optimize existing data warehouse infrastructure\nWrite and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data standards, metadata definitions, and process workflows.\nModel Midco's mission, vision, values, ethos, and Leadership Success Drivers, and inspire others to do the same.\nEnsure customer privacy by adhering to Midco's privacy guidelines while actively following Midco policies and procedures.\nMaintain reliable and predictable attendance as required by the position.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nNote: Management reserves the right to assign or reassign functions and responsibilities to this job description at any time.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAssociates degree in relevant field and/or an equivalent level of education or work experience.\nMinimum six years experience as a Database Administrator, Developer or Data Analyst.\nExperience with developing SQL server scripts, stored procedures, and utilizing Power BI.\nPossess a full understanding of building and designing dimensional modelling.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in relevant field.\nExperience working with application developers or business analysts.\nExperience with one or more of the following languages SQL, Python, PowerShell, C#, RPG, CL.\nWork Environment:\nMay need to sit or remain stationary extended periods of time.\nExtremely time-sensitive deadlines to meet customer demand.\nEmployees may be required to work more than 40 hours per week.\nPhysical Demands:\nMay occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.\nHeavy keyboard/mouse usage required with repetitive movements.\nMust remain at your desk or workstation for long periods of time.\nMental Demands:\nAbility to break down complex problems, evaluate multiple solutions, and make data-informed decisions.\nEmpathy to understand user needs and design solutions.\nCollaboration to work with cross functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.\n\nReq Benefits:\nFree Midco internet and TV\nGenerous 401(k) match and paid time away from work programs\nMidco-provided short and long term disability insurance\nMidco contributions to your HSA\nPrograms to support your physical, mental, emotional and financial wellbeing\nAnd many more\nWant to see the full line up of available benefits?
