We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best.\nMain Job Tasks and Responsibilities:\nEnsure a safe work environment for the plant in regard to all things electrical, including electronic PLC issues.\nMaintain and upgrade all electrical aspects of the machinery to ensure the equipment is performing as intended and is compliant to code.\nAssist other maintenance employees with trouble shooting, repairing and installing electrical equipment in the safest and most efficient way possible.\nProvide documentation, assistance, and tech support to management to accomplish companywide goals.\nManage outside contractors working on electrical issues or upgrades in the plant.\nResponsibilities include identifying equipment improvement opportunities, writing AFE’s and executing problem resolutions.\nAssess performance of existing equipment and processes – implementing improvements.\nDrive process control improvement projects. (Electrical, PLC and or Automation)\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years’ experience in facility or test equipment installation/maintenance.\nExperience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley SLC500, MicroLogix, ControlLogix)\nHands-on experience in HMI and SCADA development with FactoryTalk, PanelView, and Cmore.\nKnowledge of DC drives, VFDs, and Servos. Level winding experience a plus.\nProficient with blue prints-schematics (electrical & hydraulic).\nStrong Electrical background required, and experience with Aluminum Extrusion preferred.\nAutoCAD: 1 year (Required)\nKey Competencies:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPlanning and organizing.\nFormal presentation skills.\nExperience with aluminum extrusion technology or strong electrical engineering background\nMust be willing and able to excel in a team environment\nExcellent problem-solving skills\nExcellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office\nA “self starter” requiring minimal supervision and guidance.\nWillingness to get your hands dirty.\nSchedule\n8 hour shift with occasional OT as required.\nMonday to Friday\nPay Range:\n80,000.00 - 120,000.00\nWe offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more!\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law .\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
