Job DescriptionJSG is hiring a Tool Crib Clerk - 2nd shift for our client in Simi Valley, CA.Pay rate: $24-$30+ DOEJob Duties:Completes projects and tasks with minimal supervision/assistance.Ability to perform in a dynamic fast-paced environment.Ability to communicate professionally internally and externally, both verbally and writtenResponsible for ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining tools and holders in an electronic format (AutoCrib and Excel)Maintain accurate electronic inventory records and transactionsProactive in identifying and recommending proper tool application for various materials and machining processes.Preset Tools using computer-controlled pre-setter and other manual gaugesVerify kits to programs and pre-kit jobs based on sequence of dispatch or machinist LeadQuality Inspection of tools and fixtures upon issuance and receipt of such itemsLogistics of tools reconditioned tools and carbide recycling programInput data into visual management forms and convey results to managementCan work on various surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending, and working in an assortment of positions.Responsible for observing and complying with all safety rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.Able to make adjustments or minor repairs to tools and equipmentAt least two (2) years experience with all phases of part operations, basic knowledge of set-up on CNC and conventional equipment.Knowledge of various cutting tool feeds, speeds, and tool life for aerospace hard turning or milling materials.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Auto Crib or Crib Master ApplicationsAbility to follow verbal instructions and interpret blueprint and quality requirements.#D800
