Our mission is to make professional development simple, engaging, and impactful—anytime, anywhere.\nWe're looking for a Demand Planner to join our team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nForecasting & Demand Management\nDevelop, maintain, and improve short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts for\nthermoformed and extruded products using historical data, customer inputs, industry\ntrends, and analytical tools.\nMonitor forecast accuracy (MAPE, Bias, etc.) and implement corrective actions to improve\nperformance.\nIdentify demand risks, surges, shifts in customer ordering behavior, and communicate\nimpacts to operations and leadership.\nSupport pricing evaluations and new product introductions by estimating volume, capacity\nrequirements, and demand variability.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nServe as the primary liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Production Scheduling, and\nOperations to ensure alignment between demand and supply.\nParticipate in weekly and monthly S&OP meetings by presenting forecast updates, key\nvariances, and recommendations.\nWork closely with Extrusion and Thermoforming teams to understand production\ncapabilities, resin usage, machine constraints, and lead time requirements.\nPartner with Purchasing to plan raw material needs—especially resin and packaging\nmaterials—based on forecast and production plans.\n\nProduction & Capacity Alignment\nTranslate demand forecasts into capacity requirements across multiple facilities and\nproduction lines.\nCoordinate with Production Planners and Plant Managers to balance loads, minimize\nchangeovers, and optimize machine utilization.\nSupport decisions on make-to-stock vs. make-to-order strategies, safety stock\ncalculations, and inventory targets.\nMonitor facility-specific constraints and recommend proactive adjustments during peak\nseasons, customer onboarding, or production shifts.\n\nData Analysis & Reporting\nAnalyze sales patterns, customer performance, and order history to identify opportunities\nfor improvement.\nGenerate and maintain KPI dashboards for forecast accuracy, inventory health, service\nlevels, and production capacity.\nProvide data-driven insights to leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.\nContinuous Improvement & Process Enhancement (Bonus / Preferred Experience)\nLead or participate in continuous improvement projects focused on forecasting accuracy,\ninventory optimization, planning processes, and cross-department communication.\nIdentify inefficiencies in the demand planning workflow and propose standardized\nprocedures or digital tools to enhance planning efficiency.\nSupport implementation of ERP/MRP upgrades, forecasting software, or process\nautomation.\nPromote best practices in planning, root-cause problem solving, and data integrity.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial\nEngineering, or related field.\n5+ years of demand planning, forecasting, production planning, or supply chain experience\n(manufacturing environment required).\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and forecasting tools.\nProven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple\ndepartments and facility locations.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing principles, preferably in plastics, thermoforming,\nextrusion, or related processing industries.\nExperience in thermoforming, extrusion, or plastics manufacturing.\nKnowledge of resin material planning and machine-based capacity scheduling.\nExperience leading or contributing to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma,\nKaizen, etc.).\nFamiliarity with advanced analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, forecasting software).\nAPICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or similar credentials.\n\nWork Environment + Language Requirements\nGlobal remote position\nRequires at least 3 hours of overlap with U.S. Central Time each day\nMinimal or no travel\nFluency in the English language;
