They are responsible for synchronizing material availability with final assembly build schedules for their assigned work centers. They will maintain and adjust line side inventory sizes, internal Kanban sizes, and safety stock sizes to meet customer schedules. They are responsible to create job orders, ensure jobs are completed on time, and job orders are delivered to shipping to meet the customer’s schedule in accordance with the backlog.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\nCollects shortage information and expedite materials to jobs as required\nDefines and proactively adjusts inventory levels (line side inventory, internal Kanban, safety stock, finished goods)\nRecommends and implements ideas to improve product velocity, right-size inventory levels, and reduced overall costs\nManages complex bills of materials\nManages and executes complex engineering change orders\nManages obsolescence and stock depletion\nCreates and regularly updates lines of balance\nReschedules job orders to meet customer schedules\nInputs job order status and delivery information for Customer Service\nMaintain item master modifiers\nLeads meetings with regards materials needs\n\nPreferred Education & Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.\n5 or more years of relevant experience preferred.\n\nSkills and abilities\n\nDemonstrated experience in the practical application of MRP, scheduling, order policies and modifiers, capacity planning, product structures, shop floor control, and product families\nProficient with Excel\nAbility to trouble shoot and resolve material’s issues\nExcellent oral and good written communication skills.\nMust be a team player and have sound judgment and analytical abilities.\nMust have strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize activities.\nKnowledgeable in master scheduling and demand management\nAPICS or equivalent training preferred.\nMust be proficient with MS Suite\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervisory inputs\nDay Shift Work Schedule 6.00 AM – 2:30 PM\n\nSalary Range\nPlease note the typical hiring range is $29.00 - $44.00 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.\n\nCompany Description:\n\nEligible candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.\n\nThis position requires access to export control information.
