ARRT-MR Certified MRI Technologist
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team serving the Pacific Northwest region. This role involves working independently under the guidance of the Lead MRI Technologist to provide exceptional patient care through accurate imaging and documentation. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to unit safety and infection control protocols. Perform all aspects of MR imaging accurately and in accordance with established procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating patients across diverse groups. Follow all regulatory guidelines and MR safety precautions diligently. Uphold professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined by departmental policies and professional organizations. Support clinical team members with various activities when not engaged in imaging tasks. Assist with other radiology modalities as needed. Education and Experience Minimum of 1 year hospital-based clinical medical imaging experience required; 2 years preferred. Experience with MRI procedures in a medical center setting is preferred. Invasive MRI experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills and familiarity with the medical field are essential. Licenses and Certifications Must hold one of the following certifications: ARRT-MR (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Magnetic Resonance Imaging) ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) CRT (California Registered Technologist) with commitment to complete advanced ARRT-MRI or ARMRIT training within 15 months of initial training. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider required upon hire. Venipuncture certification required within 6 months of hire. Additional Requirements All candidates must successfully pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen, and pre-employment background checks prior to starting work.
