This role offers the chance to build impactful full-stack solutions, integrate AI with manufacturing data, and work on fast-paced, innovative projects that make a difference.\r\nWhat You'll Do:\r\nDevelop and enhance LLM-powered root cause analysis (RCA) and triage agents specifically tailored for manufacturing environments.\r\nBuild end-to-end full-stack features, including Python (FastAPI) services and responsive web/UI components, integrated seamlessly with manufacturing test platforms.\r\nIntegrate diverse manufacturing data sources such as diagnostics, BOMs, firmware configs, and Slack into AI agents' context to improve diagnostic accuracy.\r\nCollaborate with ML and RCA engineers to refine prompts, evaluate outputs, and enhance the real-world performance of AI-powered solutions.\r\nMove quickly within an existing codebase, delivering reliable, maintainable, and tested code aligned with manufacturing roadmaps.\r\nContribute to a fast-paced, high-impact environment focused on transforming manufacturing diagnostics.\r\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\r\nStrong proficiency in Python, capable of independently managing REST/FastAPI services, asynchronous jobs, and robust data pipelines.\r\nFull-stack development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React, enabling delivery of comprehensive features end-to-end.\r\nHands-on experience with LLM or AI agent development, including prompt design, structured output, and output evaluation.\r\nProven ability to quickly adapt to and become productive within unfamiliar or complex codebases.\r\nAPI development and data-integration expertise, including building and consuming REST APIs and connecting to heterogeneous external data sources.\r\nNice to Have Skills\r\nExperience with large-monorepo build systems like Bazel.\r\nFamiliarity with manufacturing, hardware, diagnostics, FMEAs, BOM, wirelists, or related test-data domains.\r\nSkills in retrieval/search techniques using embeddings, vector search, or log/ticket analysis (Databricks or similar).\r\nKnowledge of observability, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.\r\nPreferred Education and Experience\r\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\r\nDemonstrated experience in software development within manufacturing, hardware, or test-data environments is highly desirable.\r\nTypically 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development and AI-related projects.\r\nOther Requirements\r\nLocation: Hybrid in Foster City, CA, with at least 3 days/week onsite.\r\nTravel within the Bay Area is required.\r\nPosition is W2 only.\r\nStart Date: ASAP.\r\nDuration: 6+ months with potential for extension.\r\nDeWinter Group and Maris Consulting is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
