Assistant Director (Summer Playground Programming)

Assistant Director Looking for candidates to lead our non-certified summer playground programming. Responsible for assisting in all programming and logistical areas summer playground programs, working with the staff to engage participants in unique and adventurous activities on a daily basis and coordinating with the Program Manager to provide a fun and safe place for children to play.REXpedition Playground is a summer program for children entering grades 1–5 that offers a structured yet flexible environment where campers can choose from a wide range of daily activities. From themed projects and creative arts to sports, games, and free play. Each day is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.RequirementsMust be able to work independently and in small groups of staff to provide a variety of activities on a daily basis. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to interact with all participants of many ages and abilities. Has or will obtain CPR/FA certificationThis position is a seasonal position as defined by the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment AssistanceCompensationThe hiring range is $20.25–$21.81 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
