{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"783a309221fb085aeb07624f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/783a309221fb085aeb07624f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/783a309221fb085aeb07624f","title":"1st Shift RAW Machine Operator","description":"1st Shift RAW Machine OperatorOCEANSIDE, CA Immediately Temporary/ContractDescriptionBuild your future with VoltVolt is immediately hiring for a 1st shift RAW Machine OperatorAs a RAW Machine Operator you will:Operate and monitor food-processing equipment (Poly-clip, Stuffers, Grinder, Mixer Line, etc.)Set up machines at the start of shift; adjust settings to maintain correct speeds, weights, cuts, and specsSupport changeovers, cleaning, teardown, and equipment assemblyVerify process parameters and document results per HACCP, GMP, and USDA/FSIS standardsPerform routine checks to ensure product quality, weight accuracy, and integrityAccurately document all production dataTroubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate when neededMaintain clean, sanitized work areas and follow all food-safety practicesFollow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE, guarding, and safe material handlingCommunicate production issues, downtime, supply needs, or quality concerns to leadership promptlyThis is a full time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent required.Formal training in Machine Operation or mechanical systems is beneficial.Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment.Hands-on experience operating production machinery.Experience in a USDA-regulated facility preferred.Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, sanitation standards, and USDA/FSIS compliance is helpful.Strong attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.Reliable attendance and consistency in supporting operational goals.Effective basic computer skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Ability to read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
