You can check the status through your profile, accessible via Careers in PeopleHub, by clicking on ‘referral tracking.’ For Employee Referral guidelines, FAQs and the Compass Employee Referral Policy, email MyReferral@compass-usa.com.\nJob Summary\nWorking as an Operations Controller you will be responsible for the accounting activity within an assigned account(s) and assisting the Regional Director of Finance with all aspects of the financial activities that occur within the region.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversees all cash handling procedures\nPerforms reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts\nAnalyzes financial results for both internal and external use\nTracks and maintains monthly P/L and balance sheet activity\nDevelops forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities\nReviews general ledger and balance sheets\nResolves various accounting/reconciliation issues\nCompletes financial reports: monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting; manages report preparation and distribution\nMaintains inventory and cost control procedures\nPerforms administration of Payroll and Human Resources\nPerforms related duties and special projects as assigned\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience\nA minimum of five years’ experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling responsibilities\nAccounting experience in foodservice or retail industry required, foodservice operations experience a plus\nAbility to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses\nAdept at planning, organizing and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial information\nExperience with POS, cash and credit card reports\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nSkilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships\nComputer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel\nStrong analytical and organizational skills\nAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment\nConformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior\n\nApply to Canteen today!\nCanteen is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\n\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
