Quality Assurance Manager

A rapidly growing and innovative food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead food safety, audit readiness, and quality systems at a large-scale rice milling and extrusion facility in Arkansas. The company specializes in high-quality, non-GMO and gluten-free grain ingredients and operates in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where innovation and adaptability are highly valued.This individual will serve as the site SQF Practitioner and lead all quality and food safety initiatives across a complex manufacturing operation. The role is heavily focused on external audits, process improvement, and building scalable systems that can support a growing organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all site food safety and quality assurance programsServe as the site SQF PractitionerDrive customer, SQF, FDA, HACCP, and third-party audit readinessManage and develop the onsite QA teamBuild and improve systems, processes, and documentation proceduresPartner closely with plant leadership and corporate quality leadershipSupport quality initiatives across both milling and extrusion operationsWhat They’re Looking ForStrong food manufacturing QA leadership experienceDeep understanding of SQF, HACCP, food safety systems, and audit managementExperience in grain milling, ingredient manufacturing, extrusion, or related food processing environments preferredA hands-on leader capable of creating structure, accountability, and sustainable systemsSomeone comfortable operating in a lean, evolving, high-growth environment where processes are still being built and refinedInterested candidates, reach out to Brad Jansen.
