{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"7817f6c18fb0a661d5139a76","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7817f6c18fb0a661d5139a76","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7817f6c18fb0a661d5139a76","title":"27 Weld Group Leader - Department Only","description":"COP2026 - 27 Weld Group Leader - Department Only Supervise Team Members in the manufacturing/quality areas in an automotive manufacturing environment.\r\nEssential Functions: Position Requirements: Direct and coordinate the activities of multiple team leaders engaged in the production of automotive vehicles and their respective areas.\r\nPlan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.\r\nInspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.\r\nDemonstrate equipment operations and work & safety procedures to Team Members.\r\nObserve work and monitor work processes to ensure that Team Members conform to production or processing standards.\r\nUse independent judgment and discretion in assigning, distributing, and coordinating the work of the team, as appropriate.\r\nEnsure quantity and/or quality of work is completed within a given timeframe based on Team Members' skills, availability, and length of service.\r\nImplement corrective action in accordance with HMMA policy.\r\nAccountable for the performance of the team.\r\nAddress or direct Team Member grievances/complaints for proper resolution.\r\nAttend management-only meetings.\r\nParticipate in hiring and promotion activities as appropriate.\r\nParticipate in probationary evaluations and other evaluations of Team Members and provide recommendations as appropriate.\r\nConfer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.\r\nResponsible for safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets for assigned production areas.\r\nUndertake special assignments as required by management.\r\nEnsure Team Members adhere to HMMA policies and procedures.\r\nEnsure time input is properly completed and ensure other tasks are completed as required.\r\nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with Team Members and management.\r\nAdminister, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management\r\nSystem (SMS) requirements.\r\nMeet all other requirements as assigned.\r\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred\r\nRelated Experience: 1 – 5 years of job related experience preferred\r\nTraining / Certification: Skills / Knowledge: Word\r\nExcel\r\nPowerPoint\r\nAdditional Information: Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift.
