{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"7810a27e2e6fbaf0a179ebaa","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7810a27e2e6fbaf0a179ebaa","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7810a27e2e6fbaf0a179ebaa","title":"EMT Basic","description":"More Information about this Job:\nEmergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B)\nLocation: Bronx, NY\n\nStarting pay is $20.05 /hr. and up, based on years of experience!\n\nReferral Bonus- employees will receive $5k for referring a FT Paramedic or $2.5k for a PT Paramedic (terms and conditions apply*)\n\nWe’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.\n\nResponsibilities:\nEMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.\nDocument patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.\nTake pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.\nUse appropriate skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.\nEMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.\nWork collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.\n\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)\nState Driver’s License\nState EMT certification\nCPR/BLS certification\nDriving record in compliance with company policy\nPass Physical Ability Test (PAT)\nSome work experience, preferably in healthcare is preferred\n\nWhy Choose AMR?
