Responsible for the leadership and direction of complex programs which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Manages programs which have a variety of components to achieve long-term strategic initiatives that evolve over time. High level of organizational communication up and across the business.\r\nWhat you will do\r\nSupports business partners in defining and planning strategies and projects while continually assessing program health and updates program roadmap and ensure program results are delivered successfully and benefits are while building team performance to ensure project efficiency, facilitate cooperation.\r\nResponsible for planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating and leading a series of related and possibly interdependent initiatives, projects and subprograms that meet an overarching set of organizational benefits.\r\nDirects large-scale, complex programs often involving multiple internal and external teams and team members.\r\nServe as a liaison and build bridges among all stakeholders. Translate objectives across the business into program objectives and practices. Drives collaboration with program and project team members to resolve conflict.\r\nDefines and manages program scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost, and quality parameters.\r\nManages the overall program budget.\r\nAccountable for program communication; providing status, clarifying concerns and highlighting issues, as well as regularly briefing key stakeholders on all aspects of assigned initiatives.\r\nClosely manages program-level risk and creates mitigation plans to eliminate / minimize impact and may be responsible for indirectly managing program resources. Inclusive of creating and maintaining appropriate program documentation (road-map, benefits, etc.) to meet business goals and program initiatives.\r\nContributes to establishing best practices for the transformation team.\r\nFacilitates and participates in the development of key organizational strategies through benefit realization.\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\r\nWhen you will work\r\nMonday to Friday, 8am to 5pm\r\nHybrid schedule, 4 days in office in Wyoming, MI with 1 day remote\r\nWhat you'll bring to the table:\r\nBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field is required.\r\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.\r\nSeven to ten years of business experience with five previous years of project management experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.\r\nStrategic thinker, proven ability to identify opportunity and create business case to sell it\r\nChange agent, proven ability to guide organization through significant change\r\nProven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity\r\nStrong influencing skills\r\nSound business and technical acumen\r\nFocused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure\r\nAbility to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally\r\nStrong presentation / facilitation skills\r\nAbility to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives\r\nDemonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex programs\r\nExcellent problem solving and critical thinking skills\r\nExemplary core project management skills\r\nAbility to manage the successful and smooth transition from current to desired culture, practices, structure, and overall organizational environment.\r\nBE PART OF AN AMAZING CULTURE WHERE WHAT MATTERS TO YOU, MATTERS TO US!\r\nGordon Food Service values our customers and understands that their success is largely dependent upon their workforce.
