You will be involved in the full life-cycle of software development, from requirements development and design to application development, testing, release, installation, and maintenance.\nKey Technical Requirements:\n- Proficiency in Embedded Software Development\n- Experience with Linux or other real-time communications systems using C/C++\n- Familiarity with RESTful API\n- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker\n- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming\n- Familiarity with BTLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), Wi-Fi, and ZigBee\n- Knowledge of and ability to debug wireless and IP protocol stacks (Layer 2 and Layer 3)\n- Self-starter who is experienced in debugging and troubleshooting software issues\nDesired Skills:\n- Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering or related field specializing in Protocol Design\n- Experience working with advanced communication protocols\n- Previous exposure to software development in a defense-related environment\n- Expertise in Waveform Design\n- Knowledge of MANET/MESH protocols\n- Experience with cellular embedded systems (5G/4G)\nResponsibilities:\n- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement embedded software solutions\n- Participate in requirements gathering, modeling, and design phases of the software development life-cycle\n- Develop, test, and maintain software applications to meet customer requirements\n- Interface with customers occasionally and exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills\n- Adhere to software engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines\n- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner\n- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery\nRequirements:\n- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with three years of relevant experience.\n- Proven experience in embedded software development\n- Knowledge of various programming languages, such as C/C++, Python, etc.\n- Ability to work on-site in Orlando, Florida\n- Must be eligible to work in the United States\nTravel Requirements:\n- Approximately 10% of the time, travel is required to meet with clients or participate in team meetings, workshops, and conferences.\nOther Important Information You Should Know\nExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you express interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
