Project Manager (Utility Industry)

M-F, 40 hrs.Work Location: DPL North East Disttrict Office, 2 Center Drive, North East, MD 21901Start/End Dates: 10/28/2024 - 10/27/2025The DPL MD North East New Business engineering team is responsible for receiving customer applications for new electric service, designing the required installations, and planning the work. The team consists of 3 Service Associates, 4 designers / field technicians, a supervisor, one engineer, an analyst, and a project manager.The Project Manager will support all aspects of designing and installation of new electrical services for customers, from project start (design requirements) to close out (construction complete, as-builts, materials accounted for, customer true up).Other responsibilities:Coordinate with DPL construction and Maintenance, Work Management, Finance, and other departments to ensure timely execution of projects.Maintain project schedules and finances.Produce status reports for management.Follow up on project administrative duties for proper close out.Qualifications:5-10 years of relevant experienceEngineering background is a plus but not required. Project management experience in a utility industry (electric, water, gas, telecom, etc.) is a plus but not required.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Hyperion, Oracle, Asset Suite 8.Highly organized and self-starter.Strong sense of initiative and willingness to learn on the job and work with others.Project management experience commensurate with requirements of the position.Prefer electric utility experience.Top Skills:Project Management, coordinating & tracking skills.
