This individual is expected to write PowerShell scripts and/or C# libraries to support the configuration of installation packages. Responsibilities also include creating deployment rules to use with the Microsoft Custom WSUS process and Octopus Deploy.\nReporting Relationship: Director, Application Development Software\nShift: Generally, Monday through Friday 8am-5 pm CST. This position can be done in office or remotely. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.\nScope of the Role:\nCreate and maintain Windows Installer (MSI) packages for new/existing products.\nCreate and maintain Octopus Deploy packages and projects for both testing and production environments.\nCreate and maintain supporting documentation for packages and deployment processes.\nOther duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science related field or equivalent related experience\nExperience with Windows Installer authoring tools (Advanced Installer preferred)\nExperience with scripting languages (VB, Powershell, Batch)\nExperience with Windows operating system administration (registry, services, permissions, users, groups, security policy)\nExperience with software deployment/distribution technologies (WSUS, Octopus Deploy)\nBackground in software build and release tools/process (Azure DevOps, MSBuild, etc.)\nExperience with source control (git, TFVC)\nEntry level programming experience in C#/.NET\nEntry level experience with internet information services (IIS)\nEntry level experience with Microsoft SQL Server\nEntry level experience with Windows networking\nExperience with one or more of the following is a plus: XML, JSON, YAML\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to prioritize tasks and work with little direction\nStrong analytical skills, including a high level of attention to detail\nRemote Work Requirements:\nMust have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection\nMust have a distraction free home office workspace\nMust be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)\nBenefits:\nAt ScriptPro, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset.
