We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Temporary Shipping & Receiving Specialist opportunity at NDX Mallow Tru Dental Lab located in Lees Summit, MO.The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The PositionAble to perform all functions/responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Clerk and has the ability and responsibility to schedule cases and/or invoice casesOpen incoming cases and disinfect based on standards required by lawPlace all contents of each case in work pan with proper work pan numbers on all itemsNote condition of items on prescriptions as requiredRead prescriptions and Scan prescriptions into an electronic databaseAccurately enter cases into computer for proper production (regular and hold cases)Move case into production areaDisinfect, pack, invoice and ship cases for delivery through local source or national carrierParticipate in quality control of completed cases after they have been run through FedEx/UPS/USPS machinesPerform daily closeProvide daily pickups and deliveries of products as requested and assignedMaintain excellent driving record, observing all rules of the road and proper safety at all times.Ensure the responsible use, safety and care of equipment. Ensure preventive maintenance requirements are met and that work area is kept cleanAll other duties as assignedSkills And Abilities RequiredMust be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to work in a fast paced, ever changing work environmentMust have computer skills including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office productsDemonstrated initiativeAttention to detailRead and interpret prescriptions and other required documentationAbility to multi-task and prioritizeStrong data entry skillsMinimum Education And Experience RequiredPreferred: High school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving recordEntry level role (less than 6 months experience)Hazardous Materials Or Equipment UsedDisinfectant process chemicalsMust wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work tasks that require and follow safety guidelines as stated in NDX Safety & Health Plan ManualPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reachExhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motionsGood hand-eye coordinationGood manual dexterityAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeRepeated bending and kneelingVision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or colorPush, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
