The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and problem-solving skills. This position offers a competitive pay rate, with potential adjustments based on experience and qualifications, as well as the opportunity for advancement, employee recognition, and team collaboration.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultationEnsures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on DemandInterprets physician medication ordersCompounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related dutiesUtilizes pharmaceutical equipment to include automated dispensing machines, Laminar Flow Hoods and compounding equipment.Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional mannerMaintains customer confidentiality at all timesComplies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practicesExercises sound judgment in decision-makingInteracts effectively with diverse individualsMaintains professionalism in all situationsUses time effectively and efficientlyTakes calls from facility and returns to pharmacy as needed Position Requirements: Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)Schedule Details: As needed if available Top advantages: As a team member at PharmD on Demand, you'll enjoy: Growth opportunitiesSocial eventsWork-life balancePositive work environment
