Genesis Metalworks INC values professionalism, accountability, and collaboration at all levels of the organization.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Miscellaneous Metals Field Foreman role based in Lexington, NC. The Field Foreman oversees daily field operations for the installation of stairs, rails, embeds, supports, and other miscellaneous metals on active construction sites. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, coordinating labor and equipment, planning daily work tasks, and ensuring that crews have materials, tools, and information needed to perform safely and efficiently. The role includes supervising and coaching field team members, monitoring work quality, enforcing safety policies, and communicating progress and issues to project managers and site supervision. The Field Foreman also assists hands-on with installation, layout, measurement, and basic maintenance of tools and equipment as needed to keep work on schedule.Qualifications Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead field crews, assign tasks, monitor productivity, and train team members while maintaining a safe, respectful work environment.Heavy Equipment: Experience operating or coordinating the use of lifts, forklifts, and related equipment commonly used in structural and miscellaneous metal installation.Carpentry and Metal Installation: Proficiency with basic carpentry, layout, and installation practices that support the placement of stairs, rails, embeds, and other metal components.Maintenance: Capability to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on tools, equipment, and hardware used in field operations.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with crews, general contractors, and project managers, and to document daily activities.Additional Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; proven experience in structural or miscellaneous metals or a related construction trade; familiarity with OSHA safety standards; reliable transportation to Lexington, NC job sites; high school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade training preferred).
