As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production personnel and contributing to continuous improvement in delivering top-notch products and services to our customers.\n$1,500 Sign on bonus & $1,500 Referral Bonus\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaterial Handling:\nDraw required materials from appropriate locations and stages for production lines.\nStage materials in the designated area for easy accessibility.\nSet up materials according to the Supervisor’s instructions.\nResponsible for the rail call unloading system (pulling resin material to silos)\nResin Delivery System:\nSet up and monitor the resin delivery system as per Supervisor’s instructions.\nMonitor additive levels on each line and create resin/regrind mix as needed.\nInspect regrind gaylords for metallic contamination and report any issues to the Supervisor or Line Operator.\nMaintain proper levels of color mix for color feeders and stripers.\nSet up regrind gaylords for mixing.\nProcess/Equipment Monitoring:\nUnderstand the operation of pull-line feed equipment and maintain proper tape or cable in products requiring it.\nMake minor repairs to feed equipment as needed.\nPull tape onto the floor if tape feeders are unavailable to clear any obstructions.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nA Minimum of 6 months of Manufacturing or Distribution/Warehouse experience.\nFamiliarity with SAP and Inventory Management.\nStrong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.\nEffective communication, organizational skills, and self-motivation.\nReading, writing, and mathematical competency.\nAbility to read instructions for material requirements and specifications.\nValid lift truck/forklift license.\nWorking knowledge of the resin system.\nKnowledge of part numbers for all material requirements.\nOCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.\nClimb ladders, listen to equipment, inspect products for defects, and sense temperature changes in the finished product.\nSpend up to 12 hours a shift on your feet around hot machinery.\nWhat is in it for you?
