With direction from the technical manager, they perform all preventative maintenance on machines and fix machines that are broken. During operational hours, they are also responsible for taking calls about games not functioning properly, maintaining stocking levels in instant win games, and keeping the facility clean.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nHandles calls on the game floor, bowling, and simulators.\nPerforms basic preventative maintenance on machines.\nInforms Technical Manager of potential machine problems.\nAssess every game every week.\nComplete weekly projects and tasks.\nComplete weekly maintenance sheet as assigned by Technical Manager.\nComplete weekly cleaning checklist.\nMaintains a neat and orderly workshop.\nEnsures that all self-contained games are stocked with prizes.\nMaintains a safe work environment and ensures staff follow all safety rules.\nMaintains game appearance and stocking throughout open hours.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation:\nNo prior experience or training. Some mechanical background preferred.\nWorking knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office Professional.\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.\nAbility to write simple correspondence.\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and employees.\nAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of fractions and weight measurement, volume, and distance.\nQualifications:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nRequirements:\nArcade Game Technicians must have a technical disposition. This is an entry level technical position, so many of the skills can be taught, however these attendants must have a natural attention to detail, willingness to learn, self-drive, and technical mindedness.\nPosition requires consistent activity, such as walking, bending, and lifting.\nMust be able to work holidays and weekends.\nEmployment may require background check.\n\nFive Star Park & Attractions is an equal opportunity employer.
