We are in the people business.\r\nWe're experiencing tremendous growth; and looking to expand the best team we've ever been a part of, in an effort to better serve the people that we get to connect with on a daily basis.\r\nWhat will a C-Level Technician do?\r\nIdentifies mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.\r\nPerforms tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.\r\nPerforms routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.\r\nRepairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.\r\nPerforms further tests, which may include test driving the vehicle, to ensure repairs are completed correctly.\r\nPerform oil changes to manufacturer specifications.\r\nTop off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid.\r\nInspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues.\r\nChecking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications.\r\nInstalling new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries.\r\nLubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.\r\nDiagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles' issues.\r\nCreating detailed service reports based on inspection findings and document them for customer review.\r\nVerify completed maintenance and/or repairs prior to releasing the vehicle to the customer.\r\nComplete continuing education program as directed by the company.\r\nMaintains compliance with all OSHA safety standards and procedures.\r\nModel and demonstrate ClearShift Core Values in all aspects of the role.\r\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\r\nWhat makes someone a great fit for the role? At least two years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician.\r\nASE certification a plus\r\nMust hold a valid driver's license.\r\nTeam-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.\r\nComputer and smartphone skills.\r\nCore Values\r\nClearShift operates under the Core Values of Servanthood, Excellence, and Transparency.
