Our customers include wireless carriers, tower owners and general contractors throughout the Western United States.\nAdvanced Tower Components has an immediate need for a highly motivated individual for the *Warehouse Associate* position at our Salem, OR location. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with the Salem team receiving inventory, picking orders, packing orders and making deliveries.\n\n*Primary duties and responsibilities:*\n\n* Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped\n* Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves and prepare for shipping\n* Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code\n* Assist in counting of physical inventory\n* Sweep, dust and mop; organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times\n* Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n* 3+ years of warehouse experience or equivalent\n* 3+ years of forklift experience\n* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills\n* The ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment subject to specific deadlines that must be met, while verifying the accuracy of own and/or others’ work\n* The ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels within the organization and follow instructions\n* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record\n* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
